Since this is a photo blog, I felt compelled to add a garage sale sign seeing as I didn't take any pictures of our garage sale or any part of the weekend actually.
Anyway, Saturday we had another garage sale (we did one last Sat. too) at our friend's house since there is a flea market right down the street from them that brings in a lot of traffic. All total we made about $600 and we still have more to sell. Allison's baby clothes were a big hit amongst the Germans. We also had a bbq with the same friends after the sale.
Sunday we went to the local swimming pool for most of the day. Allison had an absolute blast and was so worn out by the time we got home. I am definitely signing her up for swim lessons when we get to the states. I just love the German swimming pools, I have never seen anything like them in the states. I just got back from a short bike ride with Allison. We went down the trails by our house and stopped by a little stream. We talked to some German neighbors (eek meine Deutsch is nicht so gut! but I try!!) and then through the "nutty forest" as Alli calls it. Although I am more than ready to move back to the good old U.S. of A, it always hits me how much I will miss the trails and open areas like we have here, especially where we are about to move! Maybe we will return to Germany when Allison is old enough to enjoy all of the travel. That's our tentative plan anyway.
