Allison dressing up in some play clothes she received from her cousin Lauren. She loves the red shoes and says they "feel sprinkle-y".
We went to Catalina with my sister Lisa and her husband Jason for my birthday. Here is a picture of the harbor. We rented a golf cart for an hour and took a tour of part of the island.

And on to Allison's first swim lesson. You can see the top of her head bobbing above the green water noodle. She had no fear and kept wanting to jump in. She went under with no problems, in fact I'd say she's a little TOO brave at times!
Derek took her swimming today, this is the first time she has gone in without her water wings on her arms. Here she is jumping in!

I had to watch it again! It does sound like she said that...but I think she said "I can shrink and swim" She says "shrink" a lot, but I think she means "sink" haha!
CUTE!! We did the glass bottom boat ride on Catalina Island too.
Sophie won't wear water wings - it's either her vest or nothing.
Looks like you had a great time on Catalina. Happy Belated Birthday! We visited there a couple of years ago when we took a 4 day cruise. I have often wondered how the island was since the fire a couple of years ago....
