Soccer, Cakes and Eggs

Here is Allison at her last soccer lesson. There are only 2 girls on the team, and they try really hard but the boys always seem to have control of the ball. But here she is about to make her move. Not sure if we are going to do soccer again, she says she wants to try dance now.
Like I said, the boys usually have control of the ball... But the girls are giving it their all.
For Easter I wanted to make a bunny cake. I used a bunny shaped pan. You can't really see it here, but I put a basket weave all around the sides. I learned how to do that at my last cake course the other night. Also, the rope border, which is actually really basic but I think looks really nice. The flower on the front is covering where I ran out of icing!!!
Cake Course 2 final. Each week we worked on making the flowers from royal icing and the birds with color flow. During the last class we did the basket weave, border and put the flowers on. I really need to set aside some time to just practice the techniques we learn. That's how you get better at it.

Coloring our Easter eggs. Everyone was tired tonight, but Allison really wanted to do them so we all used up our last bit of energy to make pretty Easter eggs.
