Pisa!

We headed down to Pisa, Italy for Ammo Bowl. The journey didn't start off so smoothly. First off Allison got a rather high fever and at one point was quite lethargic so that was a bit scary. Next we had a guy almost run into the back of us on the autobahn. He later flagged us down and we pulled off to the parking area, he told us our brake lights were not working!!! I am glad he let us know, or we would not have had a clue about it. Allison was better the next day, until the evening when she spiked a fever again. So needless to say she wasn't in the best of moods. We took it really slow and only did one thing per day.

I love pictures of vacations, it always looks like you are having the best time ever, even if you aren't!! Haha! The weather was HOT and HUMID but at the beach the water was just right.

Here is Derek carrying Alli because she would not put her feet down in the water because as she informed me "It's got yucky things in it" aka Sea weed and moss type stuff. She wouldn't even put her feet down with her new Crocs on either. So Derek had to kneel down and have her stand on his lap. By the way, this is the American Beach near Camp Darby
Allison just hanging out at the food court.
I am sure this needs no title (Although it is looking a little too straight in this picture), but I will give it one anyway complete with a link if you care to read more about it - The Leaning Tower of Pisa
Alli and Daddy doing the tourist thing - Holding the tower up!
See, all the tourists striking a "hold the tower up" pose
When we went to the other side of the tower, Derek saw everyone doing a "pushing the tower over" picture. He decided that was much cooler and more original so he willingly volunteered to do one of those poses.
Mommy and Alli giving the tower a shoveI named this "knock off alley" this is where all these Africans sell knock off designer bags.
