Aquarium, Minnesota, Patti's Birthday at Disney

Three Pony tails, please. As we all know she hardly has enough for 2 let alone 3, but I did the best I could.

At the Aquarium of The Pacific in Long Beach

On Grandma's porch in Minnesota with Sophie who came to visit us for a few days.
Sophie and Alli walking with Aunt Nancy to the park.

Oh, who lives in a pineapple under the sea??? This one shows the vast difference in the girls' height. Sophie is about a week older than Alli, and Alli is about a foot taller! Alli is taller than average and Sophie is a little shorter than average. I think it's very cute! Here we are with Lynn and Sophie at the Mall of America. The girls really had a good time going on all the rides, and we had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. Aunt Nancy also treated them to some lovely Disney Princess jewelry.
Working on the farm at the Minnesota State Fair. The fair had record number attendance this year, and it was very obvious!

Derek and Patti at the Feast of Fantasy - Minnesota Renaissance festival. Neither one of us was feeling very well that day, but we still had a good time despite that. Poor Adam had to go around with 2 slow moving sickies. Fire eater at the feast. He's also very funny as well
Twig the Fairy. She's so neat! Derek got a fairy stone to take home for Allison. We told her "See fairies really do exsist, here's a stone and a picture of a real live fairy. She was very impressed.
Time to say good bye to Aunt Nancy. We had such a great time with her. Allison really loves her Aunt Nancy.

Mommy and Allison trying to take a nice self portrait. Then we took several silly ones. Allison would crack up when I showed her each one.

Day 2 at the Minnesota State Fair. The Butter Princess... That lady is carving her face in cold butter.

Allison loved this ride. This is her second time on it. It flies around in the air while you lay on it. Mommy was very nervous while she was on it!
Anytime there is face painting to be done, Allison always requests a dragon face. I just think this picture looks so funny with the dragon face.
Visiting with Derek and Vicki's old neighbor Ruthe. She is such a neat lady, I really enjoy talking to her. Please excuse Allison's silly expression, in case you haven't noticed it's hard to get her to cooperate while taking her picture sometimes.Alllison calls this her "invention" his name is "Robi" He is a robot....

I am addicted to the Facebook game Farmtown. It's so bad that even Allison knows what it is, and now she knows how to play! She likes to water the plants and "chop" the harvests.
My birthday eve dinner at Rainforest Cafe in Downton Disney with Peter, Tina, Derek and Allison.
For my actual birthday day, we went to Disneyland! We spent the night prior at the Disneyland hotel, so here I am on my birthday opening my gifts from Allison. Derek got me a nice pair of sunglasses earlier. Alli and Tigger. She says he's her favorite, but that is always subject to change.

Lunch at the Big Thunder Ranch BBQ. Derek and I first ate here 15 years ago when he came down from Seattle. He ate all of his food and half of mine, that's where he got the nick name "Piggy" from me. I believe the place closed down for many years, because every time we would go by it, it was never open. We were so excited to see it open again! Memories!

Ok, Allison was supposed to watch the Jedi cadet training show, but it got canceled and replaced with a character meet and greet instead. Mind you Allison has never seen Star Wars and only knows of the characters because we told her who they are and from the Star Tours ride. Here she is looking oh so excited to see Darth and the Storm Troopers.
Yes, on to these guys. Much better, not so scary, but Dad, who the heck are they???
Ok, not so much with Darth Maul. She wouldn't hand him her autograph book, or go next to him at all! Uh, can you blame her? She said she would only go if Derek was right next to her. Love the look on her face here...
