Here is Derek building our new PC. I have to say it went much smoother than I thought it would go. I told Derek I was going to leave the house the week he was working on it, but it only took him one night to build it and it was pretty much stress free (for all of us!)
Cake number 2, the clown cake! Personally not a fan of clowns per say, but I think they turned out pretty good. I attempted to eek out "Alli" on the cake at the last minute since she likes to see her name on it.
Don't ask me why she is wearing a winter hat in the middle of summer. But there she is in her night gown and winter hat eating a piece of the clown cake.
Last but not least, the final for course 1. Roses, bows and sweet peas. The roses were pretty difficult to make, but I think with practice they will become much easier. The colors are taken from the colors in Alli's old nursery and her new room. I signed up for course 2 which is all about flowers and basket weave. Anyway here it is:
Also, I took a piece of cake over to my mom's while she watched Allison for us (We went to a Journey concert!!) and she told me that Allison said "I want the piece with roses. Mommy worked VERY VERY hard on those roses" Aww :) Also I must say the cake really did taste good and my icing that I used to ice the cake, turned out very well this time! Nice and smooth :)
