Here is one of the fondant cakes I learned in Wilton Course 4. It's "ok" I ran out of time in class to add any finishing touches to it.

Our weird lemon tree makes has the weirdest lemons. There is one shaped like a chili pepper and the other one is just huge.

No, this lemon is not dried up, this is just how it was growing.

Here is a baby made out of fondant that we learned in course 4.

My course 4 final cake. I actually kind of liked this one... I love daisies so I chose them for the cake. Until taking these courses I never realized how time consuming it can be to make and decorate a cake. Especially fondant cakes.

We tagged along with Derek to San Fran the 1st week in May.

This one is obvious, unless you are from another planet, right?
Lombard street aka "The Crookedest Street" We drove down it twice. Why twice? Because I wanted to video it and the first time I thought I hit record, but guess I didn't...

The Painted Ladies

We rode "The Ducks" bus/boat combo that does a tour on land then in the water. Allison got to be captain for a little bit.

Allison's friend went to San Fran over spring break and she made a book about her trip to share at school. Allison was very intrigued by the "Silver Man" that her friend got to see. She was keeping her eye out for him on our 1st day out and about. Just as we were about to head back to the hotel we saw him standing on the street. Made her day :)

We did one semi-nice dinner and it was at the Crab House at Fisherman's Wharf.

Allison riding the merry-go-round at the Wharf. There were mermaids and beautiful horses to choose from, but she chose this sea dragon. That's my girl :)

We visited the Exploratorium. I can't say enough good about this place. I wish we lived closer to it, we'd be there all the time.

At a playground inside of Golden Gate Park. Allison wanted to climb up this web made of rope. Trying not to be "helicopter" parents we sat back and let her try it. She got up there pretty high, and then.....

She got stuck and panicked a bit. But...

It was Daddy to the rescue!

My niece Becca Graduated from college this year! Here she is with the cake I made her for her graduation party. It's a sheet cake with another cake (the grad cap) on top. Complete with her school colors, or as close as I could get them at least.
