Execution Wall. This is where they lined up people and shot them after their "trial". Some people were afforded a trial before death. They were charged with absurd things such as taking an extra bathroom break during work. Basically everyone was found guilty and shot along this wall.
The wooden covers on the prison windows were to prevent people inside from seeing the shootings outside. Those wooden posts were used to tie prisoner's hands behind their back and let them hang until their demise.
